The company’s history began in 1996 when two drilling divisions of JSC “Karachaganakgazprom,” the Karachaganak Drilling Operations Division and the Aksai Drilling Operations Division, were reorganized and merged to create a new drilling company, JSC “Kazburgaz.” The establishment of the joint-stock company was necessary to consolidate production capacities, preserve human resources, and maintain economic ties. Since its foundation, the company has undergone a complex journey of organizational and structural transformations, which have shaped its modern technical and production base.
Currently, JSC “Kazburgaz” is a major Kazakhstani enterprise known beyond the West Kazakhstan region. It has long-term business relationships with major companies such as Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., LLP “Zhaikmunai,” Schlumberger Logelco Inc., Weatherford, Halliburton International Inc., SMAPE, Saipem, and others. Since its inception, the company has been focused on providing high-quality services in the oil and gas sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
